Safeguarding covers all aspects of keeping children safe at Longdean School.

The Named Designated Senior Lead (Person) for Child Protection and Safeguarding is Ray Muskett. 

He leads the team of Deputy Designated Senior Leads (People) who are: 

Steve May, DDSL  

Lynne Adams, DDSL, is our Family Intervention Worker. 

Leigh Coot, DDSL, Assistant Head who oversees KS4 

Bex Segalini, DDSL, Assistant Head who is our SENDCO 

Concerns: 

If you have a concern about a child who: 

• is at risk of immediate harm call 999 
• is not at risk of immediate harm then contact Children’s Services on 0300 123 4043 
• is not at risk of immediate harm and is a Longdean Student, e-mail safeguardingconcerns@longdean.herts.sch.uk
